How to use it
- Enter the address or city of a home you are considering.
- Enter your work address.
- Choose driving, transit, bicycling or walking.
- Tap "Check commute in Google Maps." Set "Depart at" in Maps to your usual commute time.
What the results mean
- Travel time: Google Maps shows current or predicted time with traffic. Rush-hour times in Southern California can be very different from midday.

In Google Maps, choose "Depart at" or "Arrive by" and set your usual commute time and weekday.
Do you store the addresses I enter?
