California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It serves as our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Personal information we collect and why

  • Identifiers and contact details (name, email, phone, property address): to respond to your request, prepare a home valuation, and provide the real estate services you ask about.
  • Records of your requests and consent (form answers, message, consent date and time): to keep accurate brokerage and consent records.
  • Internet and device activity (IP address, browser, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP): to operate, secure and improve the Site and understand which pages are useful.

We collect this information from you directly, from your device when you use the Site, and from the people helping with your transaction.

Retention

We keep each category only as long as needed for the purposes above, and for at least as long as California real estate record-keeping rules require for transaction files (generally three years after closing or listing expiration). Site analytics data is kept according to the retention setting of our analytics provider.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit.

Your Privacy Choices

You can exercise any of these rights at no cost:

  • Know and access what personal information we have about you
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of sale or sharing (we already do neither; we also honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out request)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights

We will confirm receipt within 10 business days, verify your identity by matching information we already hold, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent with written permission.
