This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a form on the Site, such as a home valuation request or a contact form, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • A property address
  • Whether you are buying, selling or exploring, and any message you send
  • Your answer to any contact-consent checkbox, with the date and time

We do not ask for, and ask that you not send, information about race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status or other protected characteristics.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its service providers may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and the date and time of visits, using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, such as preparing a home valuation
  • To contact you about the real estate services you asked about
  • To help you search for, buy or sell property
  • To keep records required of a real estate brokerage and to comply with law
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site

Calls and text messages. We call or text you only if you contacted us first or gave consent on our form. Consent is never a condition of any purchase or service. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us, or calling (949) 822-8702. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.

Email. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only:

  • With service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, listing-search provider and customer relationship management system, which may use it only to provide services to us
  • With parties involved in a transaction you ask us to help with, such as another agent, escrow or a lender you choose
  • When required by law or legal process, or to protect rights and safety
  • With your consent

4. How long we keep it

We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law, including California brokerage record-keeping rules.

5. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we have collected about you
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it)
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for purposes that trigger this right)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We will verify your identity before responding and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing; because we do neither, it does not otherwise change how we handle your data. See our California Privacy Notice.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no website or storage system is completely secure.

9. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites, including listing and lender sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
