Real Estate Help Across Los Angeles County

Los Angeles County is the most populous county in the United States and home to 88 incorporated cities, from the beach towns of the South Bay to the high desert of the Antelope Valley. Miamar Realty is based in La Mirada, in the southeast corner of the county on the Orange County line, so the Gateway Cities, the San Gabriel Valley, and Long Beach are close by. We help buyers, sellers, and sellers throughout the county.

Every part of the county is different. A 1920s Craftsman in Pasadena, a postwar tract home in Lakewood, a hillside view home in Diamond Bar, and a desert lot in Lancaster each need a different pricing approach. That’s why we’ve built a separate guide for every city, each with its own homes-for-sale search, local notes, and answers to common questions.

Selling a Home in Los Angeles County

Our pricing starts with the sales closest to your home, not county averages. We’ll walk the property, point out the repairs buyers and inspectors usually flag, and build a marketing plan with professional photos, accurate MLS details, and clear disclosures. With so many cities to choose from, it helps to narrow your search by commute, budget, and property type. Freeways like the I-5, I-10, I-405, I-605, I-710, and I-210 connect the region, and Metro Rail and Metrolink reach many of the cities below. Start with a saved search on any city page, and we’ll send new listings as they hit the market.

A Quick Guide to Los Angeles County's Areas

Southeast LA County (Gateway Cities): Our home base. These cities, including La Mirada, Whittier, Norwalk, Downey, and Cerritos, have many established single-family neighborhoods from the postwar decades, plus older homes in cities like Whittier. Inherited homes here often haven’t been updated in years, and we help heirs and trustees decide whether to sell as-is or fix first.

San Gabriel & Pomona Valleys: From Pasadena and South Pasadena‘s historic Craftsman neighborhoods to foothill cities like Monrovia and Glendora and the college towns of Claremont and La Verne. Older homes, hillside lots, and foothill fire zones are common topics.

South Bay: Beach cities like Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo Beach, the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and inland cities like Torrance, Carson, and Gardena. Coastal permits, geology on the peninsula, and condo HOAs all come up.

Long Beach, the Harbor & Catalina: Long Beach offers everything from downtown condos to historic districts, and Avalon on Catalina Island has its own island logistics.

Westside, Central LA, and the Valleys: The City of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Culver City, Glendale, Burbank, and the cities along the US-101 and in the Santa Clarita Valley. Rent rules, hillside geology, and wildfire insurance vary by area.

Antelope Valley: Lancaster and Palmdale, in the high desert along SR-14, offer newer tract homes and larger lots.
